Our expertise, combined with our well-earned reputation for integrity, has made us a valuable resource for our clients on various strategic and operational issues. ,About the Position: The ideal candidate will provide consulting to support the management of a portfolio of Federal government grant awards. This includes program management, grant servicing, and monitoring, understanding grant program regulations, and experience using various tools and knowledge integral to these activities.Essential Job Duties:Support all activities related to awarding and closing of grantsReview current procedures for processing and servicing grants and make recommendations on new procedures associated with newly approved grants and ongoing projects.Prepare, analyze, interpret and review nonstandard and standard legal documents supporting grants for commercial and non-commercial entities.Participate in developing and modifying tools, templates, practices, and procedures consistent with overall Agency practices and procedures.Provide regular communications related to guidance, policy direction, and review to various stakeholders.Track and document special reviews and reports against requirements of the program and related regulations.Verify findings on compliance and program-related issues with subject matter experts (SMEs) both internally and externally.Reporting and Program AnalysisPrepare reports tracking the progress of grant applications in various stages.Verify and analyze applications in all stages from submission, internal review, award, and closing.Communicate and acquire necessary information and data to run ad hoc reports and analyses to internal management and other stakeholders.Required QualificationsExperience in Government grants/lending program policies, practices, laws, and regulations.Knowledge of loan and grant regulations, policies, procedures, practices, and operations.Effective communicator, in both verbal and written form, able to effectively obtain information and express ideas effectively.Proactive thinker that does not need detailed guidelines on "how to proceed."A' Solid decision-making skills, especially in uncertain or ambiguous environments.Team player willing to do whatever it takes to support internal team to help reach mission-critical goals of the client.Minimum of three years of experience working in government programs, consulting, or non-profits related to loan/grant programs.Intermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with MS Teams and SharePoint is also preferred.
