If you are passionate about driving the health care industry forward to better improve the lives of patients, members, and employees, let's talk!Job PurposeThe Western Region Vice President of Sales will lead revenue generation and business development efforts in the health plan vertical with focus on cultivating key executive relationships and cultivating new business in the western region. The Vice President of Sales will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.The ideal Vice President of Sales will have deep experience in selling technology-enabled and/or clinical systems to health insurance plans in the western part of the United States. This experience will be furthered by the candidate's relationships with key decision makers responsible for making these purchasing decisionsResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead Welldoc's revenue generation and business development strategyLeverage your current relationships with payer executives to expand current and create new sales opportunitiesCultivate and build new relationships with payer executives and stakeholders to create new sales opportunitiesMeasure and analyze current revenue streams, offerings, and relationships to optimize our business growth and revenue strategyIdentify new, innovative ways to grow Welldoc's business partnershipsBe a lead individual contributor on revenue generationRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of proven experience leading business growth in the Health Plan marketProven success selling multi-year, technology-enabled contracts (> $1M in contract value)Established relationships with key payer executives with purchasing decision authorityAbility to develop and execute on ambitious growth and sales targetsResults oriented - holds themselves accountable for short- and long-term successExceptional communication skillsFlexible on travelWelldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments.
