Network Engineer, Senior Lead
3TECH Staffing seeks experienced Network Engineers to work onsite at our client's workspace in Aberdeen, MD. As the Senior Lead Network Engineer, you will serve as Working Leader to lower-grade personnel and are considered an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Review, assist and mentor lower-grade employee's work for quality, accuracy of work. Provide communications engineering expertise to PEO C3T in pursuit of technical and policy solutions to tactical enterprise and local area C5ISR challenges facing the Army's current and future forces. Requires technical expertise in the areas of communications network engineering, satellite communications, architecture, analysis, development, and network operations support. Position should be an SME with regard to next generation technology insertion strategies and integration planning of future C5ISR capabilities. Provide analysis and assessments and test evaluation of potential high payoff communications capabilities in support of the PEO C3T global warfighter C5ISR support plan. Support the client by performing tradeoff studies for system level design and material acquisition of tactical communication systems implement and test such methodologies and devices. Serves as an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements. Assures non-functioning network components are repaired/replaced in a timely manner through maintenance contracts. Experience in Field Engineer support of Tactical C5ISR systems in an OCONUS region supporting units in combat operations and/or advise/assist missions is preferred. Of these two required key positions, one will serve as the FSR lead and the other will serve as a Radio Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of this contracts Integrated Product support deliverables. The Radio SME must meet all the requirements listed above and shall be the leading subject matter expert when developing Training Support Packages (TSP), Technical Manuals (TM), Computer Based Training (CBT), training aids, etc. The Radio SME shall have experience with Validations, Verifications and Logistics Demonstration events. This person is an integral part of the IPS deliverables development process and should be with the IPS team through the development of the contractual deliverables. Required Clearance: Secret Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a related scientific or technical discipline. The Senior Lead Network Engineer shall have a minimum of fifteen (15) relevant years of experience with tactical radio communications systems to include the following; SINCGARS Radio Set to include legacy ASIP Radio Sets, AN/PRC-148(V)2 and (V)4s, AN/PRC-152s, High Frequency (HF) Radios Sets to include the AN/PRC-150 and AN/PRC-160, Legacy SATCOM Radios such as the AN/PSC-5C and the AN/PRC-117F/G, software defined radios such as the AN/PRC-154A/C, AN/PRC-155, AN/PRC-148C, AN/PRC-163, AN/PRC-158, and AN/PRC162 and Tactical Networking Radios such as the AN/PRC-166, AN/PRC-168. This individual shall have a minimum of eight (8) relevant years of experience working with the planning of tactical communications waveforms such as SINCGARS, Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW), and Tactical Scalable MANET (TSM), and network planning software such as the Harris CPA, JENM, ACES, RAP-TR, Black Sails and ATOM.
