What You'll Get to Do: We are seeking a Consulting-Oriented professional with Dept. of Defense (DoD) or Veterans Affairs (VA) experience to help design and architect new integration-focused solutions in a global medical supply-chain/logistics system environment. You will get to work in an enterprise-level IT environment that is continually assessing and adopting leading-edge technologies, currently including AWS GovCloud, Big Data/Hadoop, Java-based N-Tier architecture, and extensive open-source software adoption. As a Senior System Architect, you will utilize software development, system integration architecture concepts, analytical and technical expertise, and familiarity with integration platforms and technology to meet DoD/VA client needs for new system interfacing/data sharing requirements.You will work closely with software engineers, system integrators, cybersecurity and business system analysts, management, and partner organizations to develop a system design that meets the business needs, satisfies user requirements, and achieves the desired results given the solution constraints, while creating informative views of the architecture.As a Senior System Architect, you will facilitate the design of medical supply-chain / logistics system solutions amongst cross-disciplined teams. The role involves developing, coordinating, assessing, and evaluating technical designs, including the breakdown of the system into functional and technical components, system processes, interfaces, technologies, and infrastructure to be used in the design. You will develop and communicate project information through architecture models, presentations, technical specifications, and Jira/Confluence tickets for recommended changes to the architecture and information systems.You'll Bring These Qualifications: **Must be a US citizen and must be able to obtain a clearance at the 'Public Trust' level (ie, a NAC-LC or Tier 3 personal investigation). A Secret clearance is also acceptable.Ability to design architectures addressing application software, to support technical requirements as well as provide for cross-functional requirements and interfaces.Ability to analyze and depict system architectures addressing business processes, Java framework n-tier web application components, APIs/web services and system integration (eg, Kafka, Spark, NiFi, Intersystems (VDIF HealthConnect)), commercial-off-the-shelf software (eg, SAP ERP), cloud-hosted solutions (particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure), various database technologies (eg, Oracle, No-SQL (MongoDB), ElasticSearch, In-memory (Redis), PostgreSQL/Greenplum, and Hadoop), application platforms/containers (eg, JBoss/Wildfly), and networking/routing aspects.Ability to produce tailored/fit-for-purpose architecture models and technical work products that aid in the development and communication of system solutions.Ability to create architecture content in the design phase that can also be leveraged for governance and compliance purposes, such as technical design reviews, cybersecurity/accreditation certifications, interoperability certifications, and financial control audits.Ability to interface effectively with client technical, functional, and management personnel, particularly briefing architecture concepts and details in a clear manner.Ability to facilitate meetings to elicit requirements, design, and architecture content.Familiarity with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or other frameworks such as Zachman, TOGAF, or FEAF desiredExperience with an architecture modeling tool (eg, ARIS, System Architect, Troux, Casewise, Mega, Metastorm, Sparx, Visio) desiredExperience with the Department of Defense (DoD), Veterans Affairs (VA), Logistics, Supply-Chain, Medical/Clinical, Facilities, Equipment, or Financial systems and data desired.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an outstanding attention to detail.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.BS degree desired, preferably in IT, Business, Management, or Supply-Chain/Logistics, plus four years of related experience.Must be authorized to work in the US.Please do *not* respond if you do not meet the requirements since we will not be able to consider you for the position.Who We Are: When you join our IntegrationResolve team, you join an analytical, quick-thinking, technologically aggressive team environment where expertise is recognized and contributions are highly valued.
