The Virginian, a 32-acre wooded campus just minutes from downtown Fairfax, is currently in the process of a $60 million dollar expansion designed to transform it into a resort lifestyle community and will soon be one of the first communities in Fairfax to offer unique luxury rentals with the high-end services and amenities.When completed, the seven-story 367,000 square foot building will include four wings featuring 155 independent living apartments along with 56 assisted living units and 36 memory care residents.The renovation will include state of the art technology, sustainability, multiple dining venues, a wine cellar, sports bar, indoor golf simulator, theater, entertainment venues, salons, pickleball, bocce ball, a putting green, and more!Experience is Everything;At LCS, experience is everything. Supervise directly/indirectly all staff in the community.Direct the management team to ensure the success of the Community including accountability for all areas of operations meeting all financial and budgetary objectives.Participate and be accountable for oversight of all marketing and sales activities and results.Operate the Community in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures and ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.Marketing & Sales Leadership:Responsibility for overall sales/occupancy resultsUnderstand and have the ability to influence sales cultureHold sales teams accountable to utilization of sales systems and standardsLead and contribute sales, marketing and business development strategySpecific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:The technical knowledge required is best obtained through a BS or MS degree in business, health care, hotel/restaurant management, or a closely related area.An active Nursing Home Administrator license preferred, but not requiredFive or more years of experience in a leadership capacity in the senior living industry.A background in financial management, including budget preparation, cash flow management, and analysis of financial reports.Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a variety of publics, including residents, ownership groups, community groups, government agencies.Why LCS?Industry leader.
