Ivy Fashion is a fashion boutique and Salon/Spa situated in a very visible and high traffic location in Riverdale, MD. We are currently sourcing for a new full-time Manager who will be responsible for growing both the Fashion Store and Salon/Spa. The Manager should have retail management experience and be a fashion-focused individual. All day-to-day situations will be handled by this Manager as well as a large part of the overall mission and future of the store. Responsibilities Actively identify and generate prospects through strategic sales strategies focusing on customers in target markets. Identify and develop new and existing referral sources to develop successful referring relationships. Maintain good working relationships with existing clients to enhance client retention and new sales through referrals and references both locally and internationally Build and maintain a consistent and thriving online presence. Develop business strategies and projects for significant growth Constant awareness of market place and fashion trends and ability to apply these to House of Vida's customer to source "trend right "brands for her customers. Expanding the horizons of the company by developing marketable and productive strategies that will increase product sales and brand presence. Provide personal shopping services to clients. Represent the House of Vida image and be a proactive ambassador in the local community and beyond. Lead short-term customer development and contribute to long-term strategies that will significantly impact sales for both House of Vida and Ivy Lounge Spa and Salon. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with top accounts. Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors. Person . Excellent knowledge of current Fashion Trends . Very Proficient with Social Media Platforms . 3 + years' experience in retail merchandising and/or wholesale sales with a significant amount of time in the Women's category. . Good grasp of the fundamentals of fashion & hair business. . Ability to establish and maintain partnerships and provide thought leadership. . Excellent presentation, communication skills, interpersonal skills. . Strong negotiation skills and understanding of financials and the ability to manage profitability. . Proper shop inventory management and display experience. . Creative skills in terms of fashion and hair business ideas. . Tenacious and resourceful problem solver who can find creative solutions to engage and partner with key brands. . Capable of working under pressure. . Capable of generating creative ways of increasing revenue in the fashion and hair business . Capable of leading and working together in a team.
