The world loves Postgres. If you work with developers or data scientists or anyone wrangling data, you'll probably see a sticker with the tusks and trunk of the Postgres elephant on the lid of a nearby laptop. EDB has a lot to do with that. We've been major contributors to Postgres since the beginning, and we are proud to call thousands of boundary pushing customers our partners. Proud though we are, we are not resting on our laurels. There's plenty of work to do. The good news is that everything we do will impact Postgres, which is to say that it will impact the world. No pressure. Our Training team is looking for a Curriculum Developer & Trainer to design, develop, and maintain instructionally sound, instructor-led and eLearning course content. Additionally, this role may deliver virtual and onsite (when safe to do so) training to our customers and partners. Responsibilities: Design and develop instructor-led and eLearning course content for PostgreSQL and EDB product portfolio Create engaging online training modules using eLearning authoring tools Create hands-on lab exercises Create content for applicable certification exams Liaison with key stakeholders and subject matter experts determining training requirements and functional information Collaborate with peers and work as part of a cross-organizational, virtual team Deliver virtual and onsite, instructor led training to our customers and partners Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience with Postgres or other major relational databases Hands on experience with leading public cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS) is a big plus Curriculum development experience creating learning content for enterprise software products Familiarity with instructional design concepts Hands-on experience with a variety of eLearning authoring tools: Articulate, Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia Proven ability to learn complex technical topics quickly and to research and troubleshoot independently Self-starter and ability to make progress without subject matter expert input Track record of delivering on time, with quality, and to standards Exceptional presentation skills Able to travel up to 25% (once it's safe to do so) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering #LI-Remote We know it takes a unique mix of people and skills to help us in our mission to supercharge Postgres, and we understand that not everyone will check every box.
