Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: To be qualified for this position at the GS-14 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level or equivalent. The experience must be related to the position as listed in this announcement and equip the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Specialized experience for the position consists of serving as a Technical Authority and Managing IT related projects.
Examples of such experience include:
- Managing software development and/or software/hardware implementation projects. OR
- Establish project scope, timeline/schedules and cost to lead or manage projects from start to finish. OR
- Creating project schedules, status reports or proposals. OR
- Giving presentations/briefings on all aspects of the project. OR
- Participating in project reviews. OR
- Develop/implement product release plan.
Specialized Experience: To be qualified for this position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent. The experience must be related to the position as listed in this announcement and equip the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Specialized experience for the position consists of Managing IT related projects.
Examples of such experience include:
- Managing software development and/or software/hardware implementation projects; OR
- Establish project scope, timeline/schedules and cost to lead or manage projects from start to finish; OR
- Creating project schedules, status reports or proposals.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
