The Beef Jerky Outlet Store in the Arundel Mills Mall is seeking an out-going & enthusiastic individual that will take pride in achieving sales goals while contributing to a fun store experience. To be successful as a Beef Jerky Outlet Sales Associate, you must enjoy communicating accurately and persuasively. Sales Associates should love making people happy with their in-store experience! During the pandemic, we have adapted shift schedules to provide flexible scheduling options as well as support each other's well-being. The Beef Jerky Outlet in Arundel Mills Mall is a locally owned and operated franchise; we are a well-organized small business and each salesperson at our store is an important member of a small team. Specific duties and responsibilities include: Increase sales through creating an engaging in-store experience Build relationships with customers in a courteous and timely manner Contribute to a welcoming, fun, and relaxed shopping atmosphere Demonstrate excellent product knowledge learned during training Restock merchandise according to established procedures Assist in maintaining store cleanliness and appearance Fully comply with all operational procedures to adhere to local health and safety codes Perform opening and closing assistance as directed Follow procedures and security measures for proper cash and credit card handling. Education, Work Experience and/or Licensure Retail store sales experience is desirable. HS diploma or equivalent is required. Language Skills Must be proficient in English speaking and reading skills. Additional languages are desirable. Physical Demands The physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of his/her job. Ability to stand on the sales floor serving customers, as well as sit, walk, crouch, stoop and reach. Ability to lift and move inventory and equipment typically associated with day-to-day operations, eg, unload inventory boxes, re-stock merchandise. Ability to use standard every day cleaning products and assist in store clean up. Ability to communicate effectively to complete sales conversations and close transactions.
