Armand's Pizzeria & Grille is looking for someone to join our team as a full time or part time Cashier. We have day shifts available starting at 10:30 am and some evening shifts and weekend starting at 10:30 AM and 4:00 pm. We are a family owned pizzeria providing high quality food to our neighbors in the Rockville and surrounding areas. Earn hourly wage plus tips, cash tips paid daily, payroll checks paid every 2 weeks.As a cashier you will be responsible for:Taking and Processing Orders: Be friendly, fast, and effective. Greet our guests, nicely ask for their order, make sure it's correct, and move to the next step. Guide our guests through the process in a warm, sincere manner by following the Steps of Service belowSuggestive Selling: Suggestive selling is great service! Help our guests have the best experience by making suggestions and anticipating their needs. You must be able to describe every item and make recommendations without being aggressive. You must know the menu well enough to be able to answer general questions.Register and Cash Control: Follow the Cash Handling Policy procedures especially when entering orders and payments. Learn our easy to use POS system and our current menu.Answering the Phone: Take delivery and pick up orders over the phone.Greet our guests- Welcome each customer as they enter the restaurant for picking up orders or if they are dining in the restaurant you will direct them to the dining area where the waitress will take over. Use front counter register to ring up customers coming into place a order or pick up a order.Look for ways to help elsewhere- are the floors or windows dirty? Do other stations need stocking? Do other team members need help? Some other duties you may be asked to help with is cleaning and minor prep work.Practice Food Safety: Follow the proper procedures especially including properly washing your hands. Always wash your hands thoroughly and avoid cross contamination when handling food, cleaning supplies, or money. Notify a manager immediately if you notice any problems with equipment temperatures, food safety, or food qualityPlease apply by email with your contact information, hours available, number of hour you want to work a week, and any experience you may have.
