In this role you will Lead lifecycle planning and long-term investment proposals to strengthen the brand value of Shingrix. These responsibilities include some of the following: Accountable for development and implementation of the global commercial strategy and delivery of the global business plan & sales targets Commercial representative at the cross-functional, lifecycle management of a Vaccine commercialization. Drive deployment of the portfolio strategy and the allocation of R&D resources for lifecycle management. Lead / contribute to lifecycle planning and long-term investment proposals to strengthen brand value. Lead the identification and delivery of industry leading innovative solutions to resolve customer pain points utilizing outside industry concepts interfacing with TECH and third parties Ability to communicate, collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders, cross-functional leaders across the Regions, Country Vaccines business heads and General Managers, through mature, credible interactions and engagements. Work across with the matrix and partner with Medical Affairs, Pricing, Communication, Government Affairs, Regulatory, Manufacturing and R&D to ensure successful strategy creation, implementation and/or go to market activities. Monitor and track performance metrics (lead and lag measures) to enable execution of critical activities. If necessary, quickly identify issues and partner to co-create course correction plans Your responsibilities: * You will collaborate with the cross functional team to develop deep insights into the customer pain points and competitor activity to enable development of industry leading initiatives. * You will lead development of global marketing campaigns, delivered through integrated channels to ensure a best in class customer experience. Collaborate with countries to ensure full engagement and therefore adoption & implementation is performed. * You should have strong awareness and understanding of how to leverage promotional channels to support the desired business outcome to support countries in decision making. * Drive deployment of the portfolio strategy and the allocation of R&D resources for lifecycle management. Lead / contribute to investment and governance proposals. * You will provide commercial input to core business processes (eg Finance updates, Long Range Forecasts, manufacturing). * You will provide support to countries, review and challenge plans and performance when appropriate, share best practices across markets. * Lead/coach and develop Brand Managers to their highest potential, helping on their career path progress (directly or indirectly leading). * Lead the mindset shift in across organization on role of marketing to focus on data and test and learn approach. * Identify commercial business risks or critical issues and their mitigation actions. Track and report deployment of the portfolio strategy and propose corrective actions when needed. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Master's degree in Business Administration, Commercial or Economics. 10 years or more of business, R&D or commercial experience in a Pharmaceutical, Vaccines, Biotech or Consumer healthcare. Prior launch and/or global experience is a plus Experience in leading commercial performance & execution in-country, leading sales & marketing execution with direct P&L accountability. Track record of defining and recommending long term strategic options that shaped business results. Demonstrated marketing bench strength with successful leadership of product launch, breadth of therapeutic area marketing operational experience Demonstrated ability to gather customer insights and use these successfully in different environmental settings Understanding of the development process from asset inception through lifecycle management Demonstrated competency in full multi-channel marketing (including digital) strategy development & execution. Demonstrated direct-to-consumer marketing competency is an additional asset Understanding of the changing digital environment particularly how this can impact our internal strategy. Proven and integrative leadership in engaging multiple teams: Engaging, empowering, collaborative and decisive leadership style with well-developed relation building skills that builds trust, credibility and establishes networks. Ability to apply leadership skills to achieve an integrated commercial viewpoint to product/vaccines development in both line and matrix settings Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and tact while working across cultures Generates confidence in the internal and external community by leveraging a range of touch points to represent and position vaccines as a market, scientific ethical leader in their given therapeutic area Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus: Ability to convey complex information simply. Capacity to network effectively and build strong relationships across different countries and cultures and functions. Ability to learn new concepts and data quickly along multiple dimensions - including but not limited to scientific data, business drivers/ challenges, Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English (written and spoken), with mastery of other languages as additional asset MBA a plus Familiarity with the characteristics and constraints of R&D, Manufacturing and Supply functions.
