Every day, our 22,000 employees do the can't be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers.The Subject Matter Expert role will be located in Rosslyn, VA.Position Description:Author Security Configuration Standards and principle documents (eg, mobile, virtual server technology, operating systems, databases, and various cloud technologies) leveraging industry best practices (eg, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) STIGs).Provide management of Configuration Standards Library.Perform Mobile Device application(s) reviews and formulate associate vulnerability mitigation recommendations.Review and adjudicate formal requests for deviations to security configuration standards.Manage and monitor External Distribution List approvals for Security Configuration Standards and Principle documents reviews and final approvals.Perform Dedicated Administrative Workstation (DAW) application(s) reviews for vulnerabilities and formulate mitigation recommendations.Perform software vulnerability evaluation, analysis, and vulnerability results reporting.Provide technical responses and recommendations to ASKCTS Support Requests.Basic Qualifications- To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience required. An additional 6 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.Active Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain SCI.Has skills and expertise to design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems and determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.Proven ability to develop and recommend corrective actions.Proficient in providing technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.Preferred Qualifications - Candidates with these preferred skills will be given preferential consideration:Possess CASP+ CE, CCISO, CISM, CySA+, GSEC, Security+ CE, or similar certification.Peraton drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
