Sales Support SpecialistAnywhere in US /Sales /Full-timeAs a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for handling incoming phone calls and sales chats from the Articulate website-answering questions and passing more complex questions or opportunities to the appropriate Articulate team member. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with tons of autonomy, love high-volume, and work well as part of a team that is laser-focused on providing an outstanding experience for Articulate prospects and customers. During times when there are no incoming calls or chats, the sales support specialist will perform scripted outbound sales activities. The work hours are 8am - 5pm EST.What you'll do:Maintain coverage of live sales support communication paths during business hours: Incoming phone calls to the Articulate 800 number, incoming live chats to the website, and phone transfers from cross-functional teamsWork cooperatively with other Articulate teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience Answer basic questions from prospects and customersTransfer more complex questions or situations to the appropriate frontline teamTrack and gather evidence from calls and chats for high-priority customer issues or needs Surface ideas to improve customer self-service options Cultivate a broad and varied understanding and knowledge of Articulate 360 and Rise to provide efficient and competent assistance to customers in a live environment Available during requested business hours, Monday - Friday, to respond to incoming sales inquiries (unless prior approval from management)Reach out to prospects and customers to conduct scripted sales activities during periods of no inbound activityOther sales support duties as assigned No cold calling What you should have:Minimum two years of experience in a business development or sales support roleExcellent attention to detail and follow-through, with the ability to handle and prioritize high-volume activities without letting anything fall through the cracksAdept at finding answers on the spot and handling uncertainty from customers and prospectsSolid computer skills, including in-depth experience with ; able to create, manage, and update lead, contact, and opportunity information with easePositive, energetic phone presenceOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsA can-do, positive attitudeIndependence at managing the day-to-day volume, case assignment, and other duties as assigned or time allows Thoughtful, trustworthy doerBA or BS degree or equivalent experienceYou're the ideal candidate if:Familiarity with the e-learning space and the product offerings for authoring tools and learning management systemsFundamental understanding of lead and sales development best practicesExperience working in a remote environmentAbout ArticulateArticulate Global, LLC, is the leading SaaS provider of creator platforms for online workplace training.
