Every day, our 22,000 employees do the cant be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers.ResponsibilitiesSupports one of Peraton's oldest customers Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division in West Bethesda Maryland. Succesful candidate shall conduct testing of network designs and monitor network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options. Candidate shall also plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network and advise network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations. Canddiate must also maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.QualificationsRequires Associate degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or communications or GSEC; Security + (CE) Certificate; SSCP Certificate; ENSA Certificate; or CNSSI/NSTISSI 4011/4012 Certificate. Must have at least four years of networking experience, two of which shall include experience with Cisco products in an Ethernet environment.
