The ideal candidates will be motivated, self-starters with great communications skills.We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes Container Platform Engineer to build and deliver a Kubernetes-driven container platform that will be used to deliver critical applications in a scalable, high-available manner.Roles & Responsibilities:Build out Kubernetes clusters and working with containers, preferably with RedHat OpenShift and Docker.Help instantiate applications and database within a containerized infrastructure, to include working with and supporting databases such as MariaDB and Postgres.Work with NGinx, HAProxy, or other internal proxying solutions to address networking in a container solution environment.Ability to effectively communicate issues with the client, team members, team leads and/or project managementStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentAbility to work independently and manage multiple task assignmentsQualifications & Requirements:Familiarity in standing up and delivering new Kubernetes platform solutions to end customers. Knowledge of technologies such as Terraform and Rancher are a plus.Familiarity working with networking, storage, and proxy challenges in a container platform environment.BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline is required.MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related disciplines preferred. DoD 8140 compliance required.Position requires three to eight years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope and complexity.Relevant experience can be substituted for education.Position requires an active Top Secret clearance that has been adjudicated within the last 52 months.#GDITpriorityThis position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by January 18, 2022 or the start date, if after January 18.
