START DATE: Immediate CLEARANCE: Secret SUMMARY: Soliel is seeking to hire a Network Engineer, this position provides critical skills as part of a team to operate, manage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues and maintain a secure network. Must have a thorough understanding of LAN/WAN integration, TCP/IP, switching, and routing is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Designing and implementing network solutions, topologies, and services to ensure efficiency, security, and reliability of current networks Working in a team environment to support effective customer service Analyzing network topologies and making recommendations on network equipment and services Configuring firewalls, load balancing, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting Arranging scheduled upgrades Strong experience with implementing configuration baselines and DoD STIGs Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases Investigating faults in the network and perform Break / Fix to arrive to a resolution REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Sciences and 7 years related experience or successful completion of a certified technical/vocational school and 10 years related experience Familiar in Windows networking, Linux networking, and network monitoring products and technologies (SMMP and Syslog) Familiar with basic deployment of AWS EC2 instance and networking within VPC Familiar with AWS Networking and Content Delivery Services Experience is installing, configuring and managing virtual network appliances such as Juniper SRX or Palo Alto and F5 Experience with configuring of routing protocol (BGP and OSPF) including routing policy on Juniper SRX Experience with security policies configurations to include security zone, address-set, and security policies Familiar with method and procedure on troubleshooting on route and security policies on Juniper SRX Experience with configurations of * Automation and scripting experience with CloudFormation and Python is a plus Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF Experience with configurations of IPsec VPN and GRE tunnels Familiar with Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) to include BCAP, VDSS, and VDMS connections Experience with the use of network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark and TCPDump Knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI model Familiar with creating VPC networking in AWS and network connectivity options in AWS Familiar with enterprise services such as DHCP, NTP, DNS, and AD JNCIA, CCNA, AWS, or other related certifications needed or specialty experience Job Types: Full-time, Contract Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: All employees are required to wear a mask.
