We are looking for an HR Business Partner to help support our growing Software Engineering team! This HRBP will work in tandem with another Sr. HR Business Partner to support Software Engineering. The person who will thrive in this role has a growth mindset with a passion for interacting with and understanding employees at all levels. They know building strong, lasting relationships is key to success in influencing decision making and changes. They thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, and ambiguity doesn't scare them. This position will be based out of our HQ and will report to the Manager, Human Resources who oversees the R&D HR Business Partner team. Responsibilities * Provide HR programmatic support, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the Software Engineering organization * Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction * Manage and facilitate organizational design and development, leadership coaching, and team building that support change and growth * Proactively assess team and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions * Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue. Design and implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond people and organizational solutions. * Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, performance management, employee relations, development and coaching, and organizational development * Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the Recruiting, Learning & Development, Compensation, Legal, and HR Operations teams to implement solutions and help scale the business Qualifications * 3+ years' experience in an HR Business Partner role. * Able to balance multiple time-sensitive deliverables and effectively prioritize, organize, and manage time. * Proactive and results-oriented with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through * Commitment to excellence and high level of integrity; ability to exercise strict confidentiality and sound judgement * Strong client-service focus and ability to build and manage relationships across different levels and functions * Proven employee relations experience and guidance, with the ability to manage delicate situations with fairness and appropriate outcomes * Experience learning and thriving in a constantly changing environment COMPANY INFO Alarm.com is the leading cloud-based platform for smart security and the Internet of Things.
