Job Title: Site Support Tech II Location: Columbia, Maryland Duration: 12 Months Contract with Extensions Troubleshoot computer hardware issues. Build and/or repair and assemble desktop and laptop components. Experience working with computer hardware including installing components, troubleshooting and diagnostics. Coordinate and work directly with hardware vendors on hardware issues, ability to troubleshoot and diagnose software/hardware issues Work independently in a high-paced environment, collaborating with various technical teams and IT staff members on Completes special projects and monthly reports as assigned. Conduct meetings related to special projects and ongoing support-issues with vendors and in-house IT teams. Support and maintain computers in both MAC and Windows 10 desktop environment Support and troubleshooting of common desktop applications to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, McAfee hard drive encryption, Antivirus and Host Intrusion Prevention, eID and Smart Card middleware and hardware, Endpoint backup software, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft TEAMS Perform remote desktop support utilizing remote assist applications (Lync, Bomgar, etc.) Document & follow processes, procedures, knowledge articles related to support environment Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 20 lbs.
