About your Role: Responsible for assisting Human Resources department with administrative duties. Maintaining personnel files, I9s, and records retention policy, procedures and practices. Communicates company human resources policies and procedures, and supports human resources related tasks and staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Acts as custodian of records, protecting confidentiality of records, and releasing information only to individuals with legitimate need-to-know inquiries, and proper authorization; including personnel file and subpoena requests. Maintains existing and terminated employee records in Human Resources for multiple states. Researches special projects and tracks or maintains various HR reports for accuracy and compliance. Verifies records accuracy and reviews documentation to assure proper policy application and compliance, related to maintenance of employee records; including I-9 and e-Verify audits on a consistent basis. Assists with the daily administrative operations of the human resource department and interacts with employees, management and other business associates. Possesses knowledge of company and office procedures and customer service standards. Works closely with Human Resource staff to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and practices. Assists with the background (exclusions) checks, process, and audits (HR Dept., State and local program audits). Acts as system administrator for computerized database of employee records. Oversee office supplies - monitor needs, manage office supply orders Serves as occasional back-up to Administrative Assistant/Receptionist: Phones- Answering all incoming calls and directing them to appropriate department or providing caller with information needed to address their need. Monitor building entry verifying employees, residents, guests, visitors and vendors asking the appropriate questions and verifying identification. Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the employees, HR team, programs and the company. Does the Following Apply to You?
