As Superintendent, you will work on-site daily to supervise project execution, ensure safety compliance and continue our high-quality standards. You will schedule, coordinate and manage the daily construction activities for the duration of the Guestroom Renovation Project which includes extensive travel for extended periods of time. Don't worry we'll cover your housing and expenses!Specific duties include:Leadership position of onsite construction for all or major components of hotel renovations.Responsible for onsite construction activities, coordination, and safety, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and with a significant focus on a high-quality execution, customer service, and detailed documentation.Track and maintain production schedules, critical path items and contractor schedules to ensure timely project completion.Review all construction documents and make sure the project is to specification and following all building codes and client requirements.Proactively identify design deficiencies, scheduling concerns or other potential project issuesMeet weekly with onsite property team with daily communication to subcontractors so you can assess progress, changes, inspections.Assume overall responsibility for a clean and safe project site and handle all compliance of the safety program.Update and maintain all documentation with RFI's, inspection logs, punch lists and reports.Perform daily walk of floors to inspect and ensure quality standards are met.Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.Schedule, receive, inspect and inventory all delivery of materials from warehouse.Maintain relationships with Hotel Operator, Hotel Owner and Construction Representative as well as develop relationships with project vendors, suppliers and trade contractors.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years' experience with hotel guest room & public space renovations and an in-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.Must be willing to travel extensively and work and live onsite through completion of project.High School degree is required.OSHA 30 Preferred.Experience with Procore preferred.Must have experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel).Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizationAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.This position involves work at a construction site where duties will be performed both indoors and outdoors.Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk and lift and move materials.EOE/M/F/D/V/SO
