Overview : The Squires Group has a contract-to-hire opportunity for an SQL Data Engineer to provide Insider Threat Support for a large-scale program onsite in Landover, MD. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for automating data streams from internal and external data sources for identifying insider threat activity.This is a multi-year program for an award-winning employer that is in heavy growth mode -- now is the time to join their team! Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with an Active Top-Secret Clearance, eligible for an SCI and Polygraph. Responsibilities : Optimize SQL database configurationLink multiple database instancesPerform data backupsCreate stored procedures, functions, and schemas as needed to support new data feedsDevelop Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to enable automated data capture and storageEnsure integration of system feeds or other like capability into other insider threat capabilitiesEnsure predictive analysis, data normalization, and identity management systems can manage and track personnel by multiple administrative or operational identifiers included in all database development workConfigure data feeds from various databases available for the ingestion of information on personnel in various forms from other data systemsDesign, develop and provide custom web-based dashboards with automation capabilitiesCoordinate with relevant parties to ensure systems availability Qualifications : 1+ years of related data engineering experienceMust have and maintain a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification which includes Security+CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND or SSCPPer our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with an Active Top-Secret Clearance, eligible for an SCI and Polygraph : 4 Reasons to Join The Squires Group, Inc.: 1.
