Vice President of Operations
WCS Construction (WCSC) is currently hiring for a Vice President of Construction! This individual will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the company, implementing plans and policies to achieve overall corporate objectives, maximizing operating results. Oversee and manage owner relationships, client relationships, contract management, subcontractor relationships and buyout. Execute project management/supervision, to ensure project consistency with WCSC standards Provide Executive oversight of operational and financial management such as cost accounting and reporting, cash flow management, and owner billings Active involvement in WCSC business development presentations and proposals Act as company representative in business associations such as ABC, WBC, DCBIA/Etc. Support Preconstruction efforts including developing preliminary schedules, project staffing plans, site logistics, general conditions estimates, constructability evaluation, and value engineering Management of WCS Construction Projects - pre-construction, construction, and close-out. Negotiate and resolve Change Order Requests and Requests for Information Perform additional assignments as required by the operating needs of the company or as directed by the President QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or other related field Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in multifamily or commercial construction.
