We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to play in this role. This team serves as the trusted marketing advisors for Deloitte Consulting's Converge (software and platform products business) team. In this role, you will oversee the development of business positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies for new firm offerings and solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B technology product or software marketing (preferred) and/or B2B professional services marketing, with the ability to connect the dots between the rest of the commercial and marketing organization to deliver aligned and coordinated go-to-market strategies. What You'll Do: You will work closely with marketing leadership to coordinate marketing efforts by helping to: * Define, coordinate, and connect the dots on consistent technology positioning and existing service or industry messaging across the firm internally and externally * Build, execute, and provide input into product naming, branding, positioning, messaging, marketing content development, lead generation and nurturing, and marketing campaign strategy. * Identify unique targeted pre-awareness marketing opportunities to showcase and further validate the business * Capture results and conduct metrics and ROI analysis to assess success and inform campaign development * Build relationships and collaborate cross-firm with other marketing teams, sales enablement, marketplace partnerships, and business leaders Other Responsibilities: * Innovation - Bring innovative thinking and leading practices to all marketing activities; ability to both think big and execute * Project Management - Possess proactive and strong organization skills to drive development, maintenance, and execution of marketing campaigns, working closely with our Green Dot Agency * Writing - Comfort with drafting a variety of different types of content, including but not limited to messaging, internal communications, sales materials, etc. * Thoughtware execution and commercialization - Manage and facilitate creation, editing, design, internal and external announcements, web postings, etc. of thought leadership content * Social and digital media - Create and implement social and digital plans for campaigns and activations * Event support - Can include event strategy development, planning logistics, invitations, registration, conference materials, and on-site assistance to create a compelling client experience * Internal communications - Coordinate with Internal Communications around development of communication campaigns for a wide range of audiences * PR - Collaborate with PR team to drive media relations and media coverage when applicable Qualifications Include: * 7+ years of relevant corporate B2B marketing experience. Experience in B2B software or technology product marketing preferred; experience in B2B professional services marketing also beneficial; experience in the financial services or consumer industries also beneficial * Bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing or a related business or technology field * Familiarity with cloud, AI, and cyber technologies are a plus * Deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results * Creative mindset with passion and drive to foster innovation in marketing and communications. Able to manage creative teams and give strategic direction to advance brand position in the market * Experience with content marketing techniques, including audience segmentation, search engine optimization (SEO), and persona-based campaigns * Experience with marketing technology and innovation to drive and enhance campaign deliverables * Experience with advanced analytics and using campaign data and sales data to determine priorities and measure effectiveness * An innovative mindset that can think strategically with a willingness to execute tactically * Strong organizational skills and project management skills - with ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times * Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills * Strong persuasive written and verbal communication skills - able to expertly position and tell compelling stories around our offerings and influence both internal and external audiences * Strong negotiation and problem solving skills; flexibility and adaptability * Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team; experience in large corporate settings and/or professional services a plus * Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity * Strong executive presence, professional client service manner, and demonstrated ability to take initiative, confident * Strong team player with the ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team * Proficient in MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint are a plus) * Proficiency in Workfront a plus Other Requirements: * Travel up to 10% (While 10% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.) * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability or protected veteran status, or any other legally protected basis, in accordance with applicable law.
