Overview Millennium Engineering and Integration is seeking a Senior Engineer & Analyst - Energy and Logistics to support the development of DoD solutions, addressing current and future force structure challenges, including technologies, system, and system of system architectures; to solve challenges and meet the needs of DoD across all domains, to provide operational capabilities to support the warfighter. This includes extending current capabilities and determining new and innovative ways and means to address challenges facing DoD in its global missions of National Defense. Senior Engineer will work with and sometimes lead teams, across all domains, using analytical based methods, program management and acquisition expertise, support Technology Analysis and Assessment, System Definition, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture development and architecture products, kill chain analysis and Logistics support of current and future Department of Defense (DoD) capabilities. Position is contingent upon award of contract. Description * Developing system solutions to complex and challenging DoD problems across all-domains, including cyber, electromagnetic spectrum, energy, communications, and logistics. Experience leading the planning and execution of complex mission and systems analysis efforts. * Leading Systems Engineering (SE) tasks including Technology Analysis and Assessment, System Definition, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture development and architecture products for Systems of Systems (SoS), kill chain analysis, SE trade-space and analysis to define capability gaps, Modeling and Simulation activities for mission improvement, and Logistics support of Department of Defense (DoD) systems. * Supporting technical, managerial or operational fields and have expert credentials or be recognized as an authority and have the mature judgment required to advise senior government personnel. * Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Interfacing with Joint Staff, Services, COCOMS, warfighters, DoD/Service Labs, and across OSD, to coordinate engineering and analysis needs and analytic results is highly desired. The ability to act as chief engineer or lead systems engineer for major defense acquisition program development effort is highly desired. * Experience supporting assessing threat kill chains operations and identifying exploitable vulnerabilities, analyzing mission threads and blue force system kill chains to identify capability gaps and solutions, developing system models, constructing and executing simulation and analysis plans, conducting trade studies and sensitivity analysis, interpreting and synthesizing results and translating them into concise and comprehensive data/information for documenting and communicating to multiple audiences, and using the application of an ends/ways/means to provide innovative solutions to address these challenges. * Experience coordinating and integrating engineering activities into concise management level information. Minimum Requirements * Requires 20 years experience. * Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Masters Degree in Engineering (or related field). * Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols Applicants for positions which require a US government security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US citizenship.
