Contingent Upon Contract Award INTECON is seeking a full-time Training Course Registrar in Arlington, VA. This position will support National Guard Bureau J37 Technical and Staff Support program. Program description: The Operations Directorate (NGB-J3/4/7) assists Office of the Secretary of Defense, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Combatant Commanders (CCDR) (eg US Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), State Adjutants General, and the NGB in supporting plans, programs and activities, training, and exercises. The NGB-J3/4/7 ensures the functions are integrated and complimentary where appropriate. The Chief, National Guard Bureau (CNGB) has tasked the NGB-J3/4/7 to develop and support strategic national and regional training activities aimed at enhancing domestic contingency readiness with subject matter expertise on joint doctrine, training, education, and exercises to ensure a trained and balanced National Guard (NG) force ready to support any mission of the Joint Force Headquarters States, Territories, and the District of Columbia (JFHQ-State(s)), or the CCDR. INTECON will assist the Government with the development, delivery, and oversight of select training and education for the NG, to include the Joint Staff as it pertains to Homeland Defense Activities; integrate NG joint training requirements with interagency activities; participate in DoD, interagency, intergovernmental, and non-governmental forums for CBRN activities. Job Description: * The NGB J37 Registrar will provide Individual Training Course Registrar services to include: * Support, monitor, and update student registrations for Army National Guard (ARNG) Soldiers and Air National Guard (ANG) Airmen in schools, courses, and similar forums. * Create, maintain, and update the student's registration process for courses. * Verify and validate course registration information with JFHQ-State(s) and individual training participants to ensure that individual training participants successfully complete registration by reviewing and producing a printout from the Guard Knowledge Online (GKO) registration site requirements. * Maintain a running Dual Status Commander (DSC) registry that provides the names and POC information for all current qualified DSC's by State. * Create/update a course event calendar, and schedule for the courses that support NGB Joint training Requirements, NLE Scenarios, National Planning Scenarios, Homeland Security Institute, HRF, and CERFP. * Review letters of instruction (LOls) generated by the NGB-J373 for NGB Joint Training Requirements, NLE Scenarios, National Planning Scenarios, Homeland Security Institute, HRF, and CERFP, which total approximately 46 courses per year, and provide an executive summary that analyzes any potential deficiencies in the LOls. * Provide an analysis that outlines current registration trends, registration statistics for each course, situational statuses for each course, and publicized future training dates, locations and venues * Support the Government in creating and maintaining a Course Management Plan (CMP), Terminal Learning Objectives (TLOs), and Program of Instruction (POIs) for all NGB Joint Training Courses for resident training. * Support the Government in maintaining backup databases on digital Government storage media, such as shared drives or SharePoint. * Support the Government in coordinating with the states to collect information necessary to develop NGB Joint Training Requirements. * Coordinate with JFHQ-State(s) and NGB Divisions to plan, schedule, and facilitate NGB Joint Training Courses. * Create, maintain, publish, and disseminate course announcements, requirements, training, and schedules to JFHQ-State(s), Army Interagency Training and Education Center (AITEC) and Regional Training Centers (RTCs) through Government-provided Points of Contact (POCs). * Provide assessment and collection of data and analysis of registration, policies, and procedures. * Create, publish, and maintain a training schedule for all NGB Joint Training courses. * Develop and maintain Academic Calendars to facilitate JFHQ-State(s) scheduling of training venues. * Develop and maintain continuity products and course pre-execution checklists for all NGB Joint Training courses. * Collect, review, and analyze graduate data from JFHQ-State(s) to maintain a historical database which will be provided to the COR for use in developing NGB Joint Training for the NGB-J373. * Update NGB Joint Training Courses on the GKO SharePoint site. * Create, maintain, and update the student's registration process for all courses, as listed on the NGB-J373's GKO website. * Coordinate with the NGB-J373, NORTHCOM, and the NGB Joint Training Branch (NGB-J372) in the development of course policies & procedures, * Support the Government in creating and maintaining a Course Management Plan (CMP), Terminal Learning Objectives (TLOs), and Program of Instruction (POIs) for all NGB Joint Training Courses for resident training. * Create and maintain a training calendar/schedule. Required Experience: Required Clearance: * Must be able to maintain a Secret Clearance. Required Education: * Bachelor's Degree (Master's Desired) Required Experience: * Five years of experience as an Instructional Coordinator, Registrar, or Training Manager. * Three years of experience in specific job-related activities mentioned above * Have advanced skills using SharePoint, MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
