For additional company information, please visit: Responsibilities As a Senior Systems Engineer with MTSI you will be primarily responsible for handling programmatic and financial tracking for multiple programs supporting OSD Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO). This position can be located in either Chantilly or Arlington, VA. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: * Oversee technical, programmatic, and financial management of projects. * Help develop roadmaps for demonstrating enabling defense technologies and capabilities. * Develop program schedules and budgets. * Develop funding documents and track financial status. * Conduct risk assessments and develop demonstration plans to reduce program risks. * Document program accomplishments and plans for senior government leadership. * Participate in test planning activities; lead test planning working groups. * Coordinate program plans with Joint Staff and Combatant Commanders. * Able to handle multi-task across programs.Abilitiy to keep accurate financial records to ensure timely commitment, obligation and execution of program funds. * Strong communicator both verbally and electronically. Qualifications * 15+ years' of financial and program management experience. * Practical Systems Engineering experience. * Familiarization with the DoD Acquisition Community. * Familiarization with weapon systems design and program development. Education Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline. * Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline, (DESIRED).
