Call Center/Facilities Support Specialist Job Description : The Call Center/Facilities Support Specialist serves as the central point of contact for client inquiries regarding facilities services at a research center in Bethesda, MD and an office building in Rockville, MD. The Conference Support Specialist may also provide logistical and administrative support for the Rockville building conference center support team as needed. Responsibilities : Providing on-site and/or remote support Monday through Friday, either 6AM-3PM, or 10AM-7PM, including answering the phone line from 7AM-5PM on open days and addressing all incoming requests for the current business day Answer client questions and perform needed triage in managing correspondence with facilities maintenance technicians Maintain accurate account of current service request activities utilizing various databases Issue/Receive parking permits for onboarding/outgoing contract and federal staff Manage phones and route simple trouble calls, or work requests submitted daily Attend routine facility related meetings and training Manage work ticket entry and project request routing into Service Desk Manage requests for building signage, bulletin boards, and poster displays Performing quality control monitoring to maintain site quality and integrity Required Skills & Experience: 2 years working in a call center / administrative environment High school Diploma Excellent customer service skills Ability to think and act quickly and professionally; be a creative problem solver Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to carry out simple but detailed instructions Meticulous attention to detail Ability to communicate concisely with clients, vendors, and partners Ability to collaborate and make suggestions to benefit a larger team Ability to anticipate issues and identify trends that might impact service
