Senior Human Resources Analyst

Responsibilities Work with People and Talent teams to assist on day-to-day business needs including issues resolution, reporting, configuration changes and coordination with business partners, etc. * Consistently works to understand the business and organization structure so that data requests and systems are in sync with the Authority's ever-changing business. Assesses data and information and prepares and presents scheduled and ad-hoc workforce reports on key metrics to support strategic initiatives. Designs and develops accurate dashboards, reports, presentations, organizational charts, and visual aids for on-demand access. * Collaborate with Financials, Talent, Benefits, Compensation and System teams to resolve intersystem issues. * Employee Transaction data entry and workflow approvals. * Extract manual interface files for ancillary systems. * Configure, Setup & Test HR Management Systems (Dayforce Benefits, Core HCM, Recruiting, and Cornerstone Learning and Performance Management). * Data validation and support data clean-up efforts related to Benefits and the Benefit vendor interface. * Provide technical and operational assistance to HR staff and employees. * Coordinate with Service Provider (Dayforce) to address any day-to-day issues, enhancements, reports, data extractions, documentation etc. * Prepares regular and special reports as required by the Manager to support management decision-making. Prepares activity and progress reports regarding the activities of the functional areas. * Supports SQL queries and ad-hoc reporting. * Conducts needs analysis, recommends, and implements solutions to meet business needs. * Collects and defines functional business requirements, translates into functional design, documents, and participates in the technical design. * Researches and resolves Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) problems, errors, unexpected results, or process flaws; performs scheduled activities, recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. * Facilitates movement to new levels of quality. Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities. Compares data from different sources to draw conclusions. Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develop appropriate solutions. Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences. * Identifies opportunities for improving HCM processes. Understands, communicates, and tests system changes. * Maintains system security access control by creating new users and granting access with appropriate security role. * Work with DCW Project Management and System Integrator Teams to support the Oracle HCM and Talent implementation. * Support cutover activities related to Ceridian Dayforce in last phase of implementation. * Coordinate with Dayforce, IT and Project management teams on implementation needs. * Ability to interpret existing DCW business needs (HCM DataMart) and communicate requirements to project development team. * Ability to understand underlying data models with Ceridian Dayforce applications is required to help HCM Datamart implementation team. * Experience in mapping front end applications to underlying data structures/fields. * Support the requirements, design, development and testing of Datamart application. Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree is preferred in a technical field such as computer science, Human Resources, Business or related field from an accredited college or university. * Minimum 5 years of experience within the Human Resources field. * Minimum 5 years of Ceridian Dayforce applications (Core HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, OTL, Absentee Mgmt.). Technical experience with good functional and business background. * Experience with Cornerstone On Demand or equivalent Learning and Performance Management System. * Oracle HCM and Talent Cloud experience is a plus. * High proficiency utilizing Excel. * Project Management, Process, Business Process Assessment, Functional Analysis requirements, data modeling and workflow analysis experience preferred. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Desire to work with cross functional teams and helping businesses make better decisions * Creating test cases /scenarios/ design. * Dayforce Report writing required/Strong SQL experience preferred. * Self-supporting and independent attitude.
