HIGH SIERRA POOLS, INC. is seeking a SEASONAL RECRUITER to join our HR team. The recruiter connects applicants with meaningful summer jobs as lifeguards and supports the overall hiring process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident, easy to talk to, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can roll up their sleeves and have fun while getting the job done. This is an entry-level Human Resources position that can offer great experience and skills for the future. Prior aquatics industry experience or seasonal industry experience is preferred. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate, attend, and/or host in person and online recruiting events (open house, career fairs, presentations, interview days, etc.) Assists with recruitment functions, including executing recruitment plans and attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc. Represents company at community hiring events and other functions with civic, social, and other groups to provide information about the Company and job opportunities Build Community partnerships with various local High Schools, Community outreach programs, local Government authorities, County programs Distribute printable medias to local schools such as flyers and posters Assists in supervising daily operation of Human Resources Department office including providing information to applicants, employees, clients and the public in person, by phone and via email Assists with overall Human Resources Department functions, including but not limited to: scheduling interviews, interviewing, processing employee paperwork, documenting and collecting employment data, and ensuring progression through the applicant to employee funnel Support the HR Department in other employment functions as needed Skills/Abilities: Ability to represent the company with a high degree of professionalism and promote a positive company image. Ability to communicate well with all levels of management and handle confidential information with integrity. Ability tomanage difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance. Ability tobalances team and individual responsibilities Ability to prioritizes and plan work activities Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail. Ability to interact with applicants in a positive, outgoing manner to get them excited about our employment opportunities Basic Qualifications Valid Driver's License Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Must be at least 18 years of age Education and Experience: One to two years of previous experience in recruitment and aquatic industry (preferred) High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Please contact our HR Department at 703.920.1750 ext. 205 with any questions!
