Description Award winning government contractor in the IT Services space with $50M in revenue and growing is looking for a Sr. Manager of Accounting, Finance & Contracts. This individual will report directly to the CFO and play a key role in the company's financial and contractual leadership including pricing and ensuring all proper internal controls and systems are in place and the company operates compliantly. My client is currently remote and is open to hiring outside of the DMV area providing the individual is willing to travel as needed. A Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification is required for this position. Core responsibilities include:+ Direct the preparation and ensures the accuracy of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, statement of cash flows, tax returns, financial ratios analysis and reports for banking and government regulatory agencies.+ Performs program and indirect cost reviews, rate validations, forecasting of labor and overhead rates. Monthly prepares reports for the Senior Leadership Team showing spending vs. budget and identifying any problems that need to be addressed.+ Establishes and monitors internal budgets (both direct and indirect). Continually improves the budgeting process through education of Directors and VPs on financial issues.+ Directs and oversees the preparation of Incurred Cost Submissions, Provisional Rate Negotiations and Financial Audit Reports.+ Oversees Accounts Payable function ensuring all expense reports, vendor payments and other items are processed correctly.+ Oversees Invoicing function, ensuring invoices are accurate and delivered timely to clients.+ Ensures compliance with applicable Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFAR's.+ Oversees the accounting function in providing and directing procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls in compliance with US GAAP and the firm's Corporate Accounting Policies.+ Oversees the contracts function in providing and directing procedures and systems necessary to maintain compliance, work with contracts staff to develop and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and pricing strategies for bids and proposal.+ Directs contract administration operations involving contracts for purchase or sale of equipment, materials, products, or services and may direct those who estimate expenditures expected and submits to management.+ Directs the review of bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids.+ Develops and directs the negotiations of contracts with customer or bidder.+ Directs the analysis of contracts and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.+ Advises on strategy for win on pricing of proposals, Reviews and assists in the preparation of cost estimates for bids and proposals, Advises the CFO concerning proposal review and sign-off.This is a tremendous opportunity to play a critical role in a growing government contractor.
