This person will prepare and process loan files from application to closing following all regulatory guidelines in a timely and efficient manner. A background that includes knowledge of pulling applicants credit reports, loan document processing, and chattel securities is preferred.Primary Areas of Responsibility - Process loan documents per credit approval for loan closingProcess new lien instruments accurately and ensure lien position is correct per approvalReview existing lien instruments for accuracy addressing any discrepancies as neededFollow all ICFR guidance as required per procedureConsult with Loan Officers to verify accuracy of all loan documents, collateral descriptions, and any other documents required to complete the loan packageDisburse loan proceedsUpload loan(s) to loan systemComplete quality control reviews as directedProvide support as needed to the Processing team and/or branch functions as needed to ensure prompt customer service.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Requirements - Associate Degree in Accounting, Business, or Secretarial Science or equivalent experienceOne to three years loan processing experience preferredDetail oriented, independent judgment skills, strong organizational skills, flexible to a changing work environment, demonstrate a willingness to be collaborative, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, quality and solution focused, innovative, ability to develop and work well in a team atmosphere, effectively follow up on the work of others, ability to work independently with general supervision, self-starter with ability to be assertive and arrive at sound business decisions,Knowledge of computer software applications, which may include but not limited to: Adobe, MS Excel, MS Word, CRM, SharePoint, AgDocs, Accounting systems/mainframe/front end, Credit Delivery or other document generation software, report generation, vendor ordering software, and collateral database tracking,Overall knowledge and willingness to continually study MAFC, AgFirst, and FCA policy and procedure manuals, and overall understanding of legal terms to ensure proper collateral positions are achievedMay require work beyond normally scheduled hours with little or no advance notice to meet the organizations overall mission, goals, and objectives.Farm Credit experience preferredTravel to/from other branch offices, associations, AgFirst, or other facilities as deemed necessary 1 Position Available - selected candidate may work form any of the follow MidAtlantic Farm Credit Branch Locations: Westminster, Maryland; Mount Joy, Pennsylvania; Bel Air, Maryland; Frederick, Maryland; Georgetown, Delaware; Shoemakersville, PennsylvaniaEqual Opportunity Employer including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
