Greet all incoming visitors, applicants, and employees and assist as needed.The HR Assistant has front line responsibility for handling customer service interactions, primarily through telephone and personal contact with both internal and external customers. In this capacity, the function of assistant is also incorporated to include daily operational tasks, computerized record-keeping, filing, and general office management activities.Pay & Benefits:In addition to salary, the benefit package includes paid major holidays, vacation/sick time, health & dental insurance, and 401(k) Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent preferredOne year experience with customer service, Microsoft Office Suite, and office/clerical work required.Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people. Must be able to represent the hospital and the Human Resources Department to all employees and visitors in a professional and friendly manner at all times. Responsibilities: Answers telephone promptly and refers caller to other department personnel when appropriate or provides employment or other personnel information as indicatedReviews any paperwork returned to Human Resources to ensure proper completionCompletes verbal and written verification of employment for staff within 24 hour periodAudits new hire paperwork for all hospital staff. Verifies completion of new hire process for ID badge eligibilityCompletes all identification cards ensuring accuracy. Notifies Security for card access when requiredFiling is completed accurately on a daily basis and employee records are up-to-date
