Responsible for costs including gross margin, opex, netex and capex.The Main ResponsibilitiesLeadership of expanding and improving the Partner Channel externally into markets and internally with Lumen's policies, processes, and tools or those created uniquely for the Partner ChannelLeadership of the Lumen Enterprise Acquire and Customer Success policies, processes, and tools as they are architected for the Customer/Partner journey.Lead from the front to drive a high performance, results oriented cultureDesign go-to-market product, pricing, and promotion solutions in concert with field marketing, product, pricing and network planning organization for new partners and/or new salesAssist sales directors and Channel Managers in building partner sales engagements and closing deals with partnersRefine, expand, and improve our existing channel strategy and define the types of partnerships to build within specific market segmentsPartner with sales, marketing, and customer success leaders to adapt strategies to execute across multiple verticalsUnderstand the competitive market, and develop a team of subject matter expertsAct as the voice of the channel internally amongst product, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to ensure cross functional collaboration in driving partnershipsDirect leadership of channel sales, with dotted line coordination/ management of dedicated sales operations, sales engineering, and sales support teams, field planning and financial planning resources.Develop, implement, and manage sales strategies for the region in line with our GTM strategyWhat We Look For in a CandidateBasic Qualifications:Experience as a successful General Manager or equivalent in a telecom or technology sales/channel sales environment with enterprise telecom sales and operations management experience - including owning the customer experience in managed local market areas.Bachelor's DegreePreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated experience in exceeding revenue targetsSuccessful track record bidding and winning sales through the RFP process.Understand and evaluate network infrastructure; challenges and opportunities.Effective management of capital planning and budgeting, including netex, capex and opex.Master's Degree or MBARequisition #: 268703EEO StatementWe are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all persons regardless of race, color, ancestry, citizenship, national origin, religion, veteran status, disability, genetic characteristic or information, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, family status, pregnancy, or other legally protected status (collectively, "protected statuses"A' ). Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation.
