Do it here. What you'll be doing Domain Specialists are the Business Architects who provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership at market and opportunity levels. We utilize a deep understanding of customer use cases, business, and compliance requirements in our Domain areas. We apply specialized advanced solutioning skills to provide end-to-end transformational roadmaps for customers and assist in positioning Verizon products and services to meet current and future needs based on the customer's current digital maturity level while considering their near, mid, and long term mission goals. We partner closely with marketing, product, sales, BD, strategy, partner, professional services, and delivery organizations to meet or exceed customer needs and grow Public Sector revenue. Due to increased demand for support from the Domains organization, we are adding a Specialist, Domains Programs & Governance to support the Product & Domain activities, initiatives, and ideas which grow our customer base and increase revenue.You are committed to expanding the Public Sector Professional Services business. You cultivate a strong relationship with the Professional Services delivery organization and collaborate with them to represent the voice of Sales and BDSS. You improve the sales user experience so that account teams and BD can focus on moving Verizon from a procurement category to a value-add partner. A Trusted Advisor. You help to keep the Domains organization on track for big-picture business goals and KPIs. You are the catalyst for ongoing growth and efficiency for the entire Domains organization. A Path-Clearer: You make certain that our Domain specialists have a clear path and the tools they need. You remove sales obstacles and promote process and system enhancements to improve the team, partner, and customer experience. You use creative and analytical thinking to drive change and efficiency, and serve as an escalation point when needed to help move deals forward.Helping the Domain Specialist team contribute to the success of Verizon's Public Sector organization.Interlocking with the Professional Services organization.Acting as the voice of Sales and BDSS to improve the sales user experience.Using a programmatic approach to build sales collateral, including use cases, competitive positioning, sales playbooks, value proposition development, and reference architectures to enable replication of success.Working with Marketing's Voice of the Customer (VOC) team on survey results and client feedback to continuously improve sales pursuit quality and resultsCreating, supporting, maintaining, and measuring a standardized framework for each Domain with multiple entry points into the end-to-end solution roadmap for replication of sales success. Facilitating and supporting leaders in each Domain with: Target Accounts - Relationship mapping; dividing & conquering Use Cases - Creating & maintaining a library for each domainCreating a library with Domain use case past-performance artifactsCapturing, evolving, and promoting best practices, sales motions, and success criteria.Representing the voice of the Domains organization to support teams such as Sales Ops, GNT, and L for identifying, scoping, and delivering process, tools, and systems changes as well as reporting, training & development needs which improve efficiencies for the Domains specialists.Educating Domains specialists on changes in processes, policies, and best practices to improve performance.Creating and continuously updating an internal playbook for Domain experts.Providing relevant and timely training and communications, including newsletters and special bulletins, to the Domains team as well as peer stakeholder teams.Initiating a 'Deal 360' postmortem process to discuss candidly what went well and what didn't following a customer decision on a Domains opportunity, and applying lessons learned to continual process improvement.Ensuring that recurring and special update due dates are met, including SFDC and Google Drive content.Leading and setting agenda for recurring leadership and team meetings including weekly deal review calls, weekly staff calls, monthly all-hands calls, quarterly leadership meetings, and others as scheduled.Supporting executive escalations and ad hoc requestsProviding feedback on and assisting with implementation of Domains strategy and vision. What we're looking for You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.Six or more years of relevant work experience.Business development experience including building comprehensive business cases.Experience with Verizon's Professional Services delivery organization and intake processes.Experience with SFDC reports, dashboards, and sales cycle metrics.Experience with Microsoft Office and G-Suite tools.US-based due to regulatory requirements.Eligibility for Secret level security clearance.A valid Driver's License.Willingness to travel up to 25%.Even better if you have:Master's Degree.Ability to be a resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.Verbal and written communication and presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate with both executives and sales contributors.Strong collaborative skills, with an ability to engage with diverse cross-functional teams.Verizon Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.Knowledge in supported domains areas.Experience with public sector customers.Experience with public sector contract and deal negotiations.
