You'll be primarily responsible for performing day-to-day email activities, such as building and deployment of email communications, A/B testing, data segmentation, and running monthly reports. We're looking for someone who will take pride in the details and who has an eye for improving processes along the way. Someone who can help ensure that we utilize email marketing best practices and stay caught up on new email technologies.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesEffectively utilize the marketing platform, PardotSet up, test, and launch emails for recurring, nurture, and marketing campaignsBuild and maintain our email contact database to increase our market reachHelp profile contacts based on interests and potential business opportunities, and personalize communicationsThoroughly proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spellingTest all emails in Pardot before sending, ensure messages are mobile-friendlyEnsure brand compliance on all campaigns and messagesApply updates to existing campaigns when neededDevelop A/B tests for subject lines, templates, images, CTAs, and email journeysPull and analyze reports on email success metrics, identify red flagsPerform regular contact and account maintenance in Salesforce and PardotProactively work with teammates to improve processes and work methods for greater efficiency and effectivenessExecute best practices in email development, accessibility, and email compliance regulationsWork cross-functionally with members of various teamsUse Asana to collaborate and track the progress of team projectsOther tasks as neededEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree (marketing, business, or technology related preferred) or equivalent working experienceAt least one year of experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, and marketing automationKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to collaborate with a team remotelyExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong technical and problem-solving skills with an impeccable eye for detailVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing prioritiesExperience with Salesforce and Pardot or similar email marketing automation toolExperience with Google AnalyticsBasic understanding and experience with HTML/CSS and SQLKnowledge of email compliance regulations such as CAN-SPAM and GDPREEO StatementWalker & Dunlop is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, sex, age, disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
