Furthermore, you will collaborate with US and Global HRBPs to provide guidance and coaching to managers and HR colleagues on all HR policies, processes and programs. As part of your remit, you will have primary accountability for US BBU teams and will provide support for Global BBU functions as needed. The Senior HR Solutions Partner will also undertake projects relating to the formulation, development and implementation of processes and policy as well as delivery of BBU business specific people projects and initiatives in a fast paced, evolving organization.You will report into the BBU HR Solutions Manager.The preferred location of this role is Wilmington, DE US. Gaithersburg, MD - US will also be considered.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Operational support for business changeLeading or supporting organizational development, culture, and employee engagement strategies for the BBU functionsSupport development and execution of key people projects for BBUDeliver generalist HR support, acting as a key point-of-contact for provision of professional advice and support to a range of HR activities and programsDeputise for HRBPs on key meetings and functional communication activity, where necessaryProvide generalist HR advice on a range of employment related matters (eg, disciplinary and grievance cases, attendance management, parental leave) and escalate to Employee Practices team members or COEs as appropriateWork collaboratively with colleagues across Global teams to improve the customer experienceEnsure flawless execution of key people processes across the business leveraging workforce analytics and insightsSupport and streamline US BBU specific processes to enable consistent, fast, and effective HR practicesLead and/or support HRBPs with Performance Development, Reward, Inclusion & Diversity, Enterprise Learning Solutions, and Talent & DevelopmentEssential Requirements:Must have previous relevant HR experienceBachelor's Degree2-4 years of HR experience Practical experience providing HR advice to colleaguesExcellent analytical skills with demonstrated capability to distill complex business needs into a client ready serviceAbility to assess data workforce profiles and take the lead in building data stories that clearly articulate the so what of analyses and compel the business to take appropriate actionsTechnical HR knowledge / skills associated one or more of the following disciplines Talent Acquisition, Performance & Reward, Employee Relations, L&D, organizational changeProject management experience working with senior leaders and taking multiple layered project(s) to completionAttention to detail; accomplishes tasks and processes accurately and completelyComfortable working autonomously and with ambiguityAdvanced use Microsoft Office products is required (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Box)Communication: for this role effective communication requires the individual to be able to engage with and influence stakeholders at different levels across the organizationDemonstrated ability to perceive patterns that are not obvious and find new solutions rather than simply identifying and implementing the norm.Desirable requirements:Experience of working globallyExperience with workforce planningExperience with talent management and succession planningPossesses knowledge and understanding of HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow)Experience in managing / interacting with sizeable internal customer baseGeneral knowledge and understanding of AZ policies and proceduresWhy AstraZeneca?At AstraZeneca when we see an opportunity for change, we seize it and make it happen, because any opportunity no matter how small, can be the start of something big.
