The Logistics/Property & Asset Management Analyst position is on the staff of a management consulting firm located in Tysons, VA firm specializing in government operations. The Logistics/Property & Asset Management Analyst will work at a government facility in Bethesda, MD.LMI offers a generous compensation package with excellent benefits that start the first day of employment. Business casual dress, flex time, and tuition reimbursement are a few of our many work-life benefits available to our employees.Support the management and accountability of the agency's property portfolio, including real property, personal property, and software in accordance with agency policy and procedures. Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders, including property end-users, accountable officers, the Chief Information Officer (CIO), and the Chief Financial Executive (CFE).Evaluate property assets to ensure they are identified and categorized properly, and appropriate records established and maintained through the asset life cycle (acquire-to-retire). Ensure required financial records are identified, acquired, and stored for easy access for reporting and auditing purposes.Maintain the agency property inventory in the accountable property system of record (APSR).Perform periodic inventories (floor-to-record and record-to-floor) and reconcile and remediate discrepancies, as required.Provide property inventory reports, financial reports, and work status reports, as required.Continuously review and evaluate agency policy and processes for efficiency and effectiveness, and recommend and assist in the implementation of improvements. Ensure policy and procedures are consistent with and support the objectives of applicable Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS), Federal Management Regulations (FMR), and OMB Circular No. A-123, Management's Responsibility for Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control.Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of the internal control program for property management and support the annual testing of the program.Generate responses to audit team queries regarding both the property management process and the status of accountable assets.Represent the asset/property management function at internal and external working groups, tiger teams, and other forums of interest.Bachelor's degree with five years of experience in property/asset or logistics management.Flexible with an ability to shift between task-level and strategic focus as needed.Familiarity with process improvement tools and their application.Familiarity with federal management regulations and their applicability through the asset life cycle.Experience maintaining assets in an Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously or with a team while maintaining high standards for personal performance. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and adaptable to flexible work styles, environments, and locations. Ability to coordinate among a wide cross-section of stakeholders.
