Associate Creative Director
The "Associate Creative Director, Branded Content" will be a key member of the creative team, working cross-functionally with the Content, Marketing and Sponsorship groups. The Washington Football Team is seeking a skilled creative with experience inspiring both consumers and partners with innovative concepts. This role will require a strategic thinker with the insight and knowledge to not only understand how to simultaneously support both the organization and its partners' business objectives, but also curate and execute concepts that will exceed their goals and expectations. Success will require constantly challenging marketing norms via new mediums and methods. Skilled in written and visual storytelling, you will be responsible for both supporting Creative Directors and running your own campaigns from ideation to development. An ideal candidate would be articulate, assertive and entrepreneurial in spirit, always willing and able to initiate proactive concepts for new business development. You will need to be a quick and resourceful learner, who is creatively and technically curious and detail-oriented. Most importantly, you must be passionate about creating content and experiences people will care about.Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in the development of creative concepts for branded content initiatives by collaborating with the Content, Marketing and Sponsorship groups Convey ideas concisely with clear and compelling concept statements and write-ups Work collaboratively with the Creative Directors to deliver C-level presentations and beautifully executed programs Craft creative storytelling concepts to support out sponsors' unique brand goals Establish the conceptual framework for all projects and bring the creative vision to life Manage the creative strategy to meet the goals of our sponsors Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Work within Project Management tools to build scopes of work and project plans that set our team up for success Collaborate with the design and production groups Provide clear and objective critiques of creative work Present internally and externally to sponsors Find proactive white-space for creative opportunities Requirements Passionate, relentless and entrepreneurial: thrives in a fast-paced environment and is driven to invent and make things people have never seen before A creative thinker who has a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to ideate and execute innovative creative to support brand initiatives A strategic business writer, engaging storyteller, clear communicator and polished presenter Demonstrated the ability to think strategically in creative ideation Clear ability to decipher the correct medium to convey an idea through a multitude of channels 4-7 years of experience Attention to detail, ability to think creatively and operate independently Must be a strong cross-functional leader and communicator Ability to work nights, weekends and events as needed We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
