Salary 400KUp to 60K in Sign-0n or Training AssistanceNorth American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) is seeking a board certified anesthesiologist to join our growing anesthesia practice in beautiful Manassas, Virginia. Services will be provided at Prince William Hospital and Haymarket Medical Center. The group consists of 15 anesthesiologists and over 40 CRNAs that function in a care team model.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the directing and coordinating of Activities in the Anesthesia DepartmentResponsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious ad/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical proceduresPre-anesthesia assessmentObtains and/or verifies patient consentDiscuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient - Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesiaMonitoring of the patient's physiological conditionPerformance of clinical intervention as neededRequirements - MD/DO Degree from an accredited College of Medicine - ECFMG and FLEX - Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia - Currently licensed as a Physician - Must be proficient with epidurals and spinals - Mostly L&D coverage as well as some OR anesthesia - Weekend call: 9/24 - Proficient in Ultrasound guided regional blocks a plus.Manassas, VA, located in Prince William County, is just 20 miles outside of Washington, DC.
