Duties

• You will research, design, configure, test, implement, operate and maintain multiple domains managed by Hopper Information Services Center in accordance with mandated Information Assurances and mission requirements
• You will provide expertise centered around new techniques and technologies, their implementation and application across a broad spectrum of data, voice and video communications and network platforms and ancillary devices.
• You will diagnosis, analyze and resolve IT systems, software and/or hardware problems.

• You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.

• Per E.O. 14043, selectee(s) must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by 11/22/2021 or date of employment (which ever comes later) except in limited circumstances where an exemption is approved due to a disability or sincerely held religious beliefs.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 45 level, advanced within 12 months of appointment.
• Incumbent may be subject to recurring polygraph examination.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Versed in internet protocol network operations leveraging Cisco routers and switches ensuring optimal use. 2) Manage applications, security services, and remote monitoring capabilities within a Windows environment.3) Plan and carry out complex assignments utilizing but not limited to Windows 10, Exchange 2013/2016, UNIX, and Linux systems.4) Interpret customer's Information Technology issues and transpose into actionable resolutions.

In addition to the specialized experience above your resume must demonstrate the one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

3.Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.

4.Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations
