A Day in the Life of a Financial Advisor Identify, meet with, and cultivate your own investment-minded clients (book of business) through networking, referrals, and your existing community. Analyze information to create a plan with appropriate strategies, products, and services that helps clients meet their financial goals, building long term relationships. Meet with your mentor and colleagues to develop business strategy and plans.
