As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing the credit quality of new and existing customers and recommending, approving credit line amounts, interfacing with banks for the coordinating and funding of leases and loans. From strategy to fulfillment to managed services, our engineering-centric solutions enable our clients to realize what it means for technology to do more. Job Responsibilities: Evaluate credit quality and conduct periodic evaluations of both prospective and existing customer accounts. Reviewing customers' pay history, D&B reports, Moody's ratings and financial statements to make recommendations on credit limit Approve and set-up new customer credit accounts Make recommendations on credit line adjustments, as needed Conduct due diligence with customers, as required Serve as the primary contact in supporting the sales team in credit matters and ensure compliance with all credit department policies Document credit-related findings and maintain customer accounts by keeping data current Provide credit analysis to ePlus Group's finance team Work with Bank partners to help fund leases and loans Maintain portfolio of deals on book Proactively Manage bank relationships regarding outstanding AR Interact with Field Sales organization for preliminary credit guidance Research collections issues and act as credit/collections ombudsman Liaise with representatives of banks and other businesses to securely exchange information concerning credit references Adhere to the ePlus Credit Policy as required to comply with industry best practices and SOX reporting requirements Serve as the main liaison with and accounting teams to address and resolve issues Manage and complete special projects, as required by management Your Corporate Responsibilities: Internal Control responsibilities vary by role and are subject to change. Handle confidential matters and information professionally Conduct business in a professional, competent and ethical manner Adhere to corporate policies and procedures Job Knowledge/Skills: Ability to understand and analyze financial statements, including various financial calculations and ratios Ability to summarize analysis, in writing Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Ability to work well under pressure Strong sense of organization and professionalism Detail-oriented and persistent nature Familiar with US GAAP Education and Experience: MBA/BA/BS Degree required. Banking or Finance concentration preferred 3-5 years of experience as a credit analyst in a bank or commercial business Formal bank credit training preferred Physical Requirements of Position: Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally.
