Who You Are You re a curious problem solver who has the ability to bring big ideas to life. You re creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization with ease. You would be working a flexible work from home & office work schedule. You must be located or willing to relocate near the Towson, MD Engineering HQ office. You re agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences, always. You also have: 3+ years experience in PCB design for manufacturing, 1+ years experience mechanical design and 2D and 3D CAD Working knowledge of IPC design guides and designing PCBs for compliance (UL, CSA, etc) Basic knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups Knowledge of electronics manufacturing assemblies and processes Self-motivated, ability to handle multiple assignments Experience designing 4 layer or more PCBs preferred Experience designing PCBs for switching circuits (SMPS, power converters, etc) preferred Experience with Catia & Windchill or other PLM software a plus Associate degree in Mechanical Design / CAD or related discipline a plus Knowledge of ASME Y14. 5 2D drawing standard a plus What You ll Do As an Electro-Mechanical/PCB Designer, you ll be part of our Global Tools & Storage team located in Towson, MD. Specifically, you ll: Aid in the product development of innovative and user preferred product in a variety of professional products Collaborate with Engineers and cross-functional teams delivering functional designs Create PCBs efficient in size and design. Work with engineers insuring best circuit operation.
