What you will be doing: As Assistant Director of Nursing you will be working in tandem with our Director of Nursing and VP of Health Services to oversee and coordinate both our long-term care and short-term care/rehab units. Duties include plans and directs daily functions of units, manages QA data, participates in regulatory surveys, monitors supplies and equipment usage, assigns staff duties, works on staffing with unit coordinator, coach/counsel/assess unit staff, provides unit education, wound rounds and other duties as assigned. What we are looking fo r : Ability to uphold our core values, follow policies and procedures. Must be able to take initiative to always find a way to say yes to both our residents and staff. Ensures best practices are always followed. Serves as a positive role model and seeks opportunities for continuing education. Most importantly have a positive attitude and able to smile at all times (even under a mask). Must be a registered Nurse with current CPR certification. 3-5 years long term care and management/supervisory skills required. Previous Charge Nurse/Supervisory level preferred.
