What You ll Do As a Senior Engineer Battery Pack Qualification, you ll be part of our team located in Towson, MD. You ll get to: Act as program manager for multiple mature product pack cell qualification programs of varying complexity Coordinate scheduling and implementation of pack builds and testing with engineers in our global manufacturing centers Manage cell/pack qualification testing priority and schedules based on business demands Maintain documentation of qualification processes from builds, to validation, and to compliance Create and maintain product design drawings and bills of materials in product lifecycle management (PLM) system Evaluate and approve engineering change notices (CN) Identify opportunities to reduce cost and design complexity Contribute to DFMEA sessions with engineering teams Who You Are You always strive to do a good job but wouldn t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? You also have: Bachelor s Degree in an engineering discipline. Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical Engineering preferred 3-5 years of engineering experience Program Management experience required; MS Project experience preferred Experienced in the use of 2D & 3D design software; CATIA V5 experience preferred Experienced in the use of PLM system; Windchill experience preferred Experience with high volume consumer products manufacturing preferred Experience with engineering milestone processes preferred Knowledge of lithium ion battery technology and pack design is a plus.
