Description:The IPS-Acquisition Systems Engineer is responsible for leading OSP efforts to stand-up the Integrated Program Office for Sensitive GEOINT (IPS), to include providing significant technical assistance to related systems acquisition planning. Candidate will assist in evolving requirements for future strategic OSP capabilities based on any new Government objectives, guidance, or goals. SE will support and provide expertise to planning events, analysis of alternatives events and strategic communications relating to the inception of IPS.Responsibilities include:* Assists the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions* Assists the Government in performing systems integration activities* Conducts AoA, CoA, Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments* Assists the Government in strategic technical planning, project management and risk management* Assists in the preparation of documents, records, forms, reports and plans covering systems engineering and integration activities* Operates at the level of integrating multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces within a Major Systems Acquisition across organizational and agency boundaries* Works closely with both the OSP Development Contractor(s) and security teams in a systems integration SME and support role to achieve the OSP mission as a cohesive team* Establishes effective customer relationships with senior level government personnel with the ability to work independently and within a team environmentRequired Qualifications:* Active TS/SCI Clearance w/SSBI within 5 years.* Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Science, Engineering, or related technical experience field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.* 12+ years of professional technical experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud Environments* 12+ years' experience with the Systems Engineering Lifecycle* 12+ years' experience Managing Systems Interfaces / End-to-End Systems Integration of new and existing capabilities* 12+ years' experience supporting the Assessment, Evaluation and Deployment of New / Emerging Technologies into Operations or Architectural Impacts and Recommended Way Forward* 3+ years' experience in Project Management or Team Leadership* Demonstrated ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to technical/non-technical audiences.* Demonstrated ability to establish effective customer relationships with senior level government personnel; ability to work independently and with a team environment* Self-starter and able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.* Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills.* Analytical and strong organizational skills with excellent written/verbal communications, technical/non-technical presentations skills.* Familiarity and experience handling multiple levels of security, strong communications skills and ability the work independently.Desired Qualifications:* Advanced degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM degree program* 2+ years of experience agile systems engineering and development methods (User Story Generation, Sprint/Scrum Development, Development Back-log management)* 2+ years of experience with sensitive GEOINT* 8+ years of experience with intelligence production and analysis workflow* SAFe Agilist, PMP, or INCOSE ESEP certificationsKey Words systems integration, systems engineering, acquisition, strategy, agile, GEOINT,
