Job Description The Strategic Global Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the marketing vision and planning for the products used in Transportation & Technology (Automotive, Aerospace, Marine, Electronics, Non-fuel Renewable Energy Technology, and Industrial Process Applications). Efforts will involve all aspects of the marketing mix ensuring market assessment, positioning, and plan development to drive sales growth, market share capture, and profitability short and long-term. This is a highly collaborative role that will work on a Marketing team which includes Product Management and Regional Marketing requiring team alignment across market sector, product platform, and geographic region for seamless execution. Further, it requires coordination with R&D on new product development and Sales regarding customer interaction. Key Job Responsibilities: Serve on the Marketing Leadership Team for Grace Materials Technologies with colleagues in Global Strategic Marketing, Product Management, and Regional Marketing and work collaboratively to advance Grace and Materials Technologies growth plans. Lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy and document marketing plans for relevant Transportation and Technology products, ensuring alignment with Grace and Materials Technologies strategic growth plans, to drive sales growth and profitability. Manage all aspects of the marketing mix to optimize market share and profits, including: Coordinate and align within marketing and across the organization. Manage resources, including budgets and direct report(s), to optimize marketing ROI. Required Skills Exceptional interpersonal skills in leading and managing multi-functional teams comprising members from different cultural/ethnic backgrounds. Experience using influencing skills, rather than formal authority, to lead the teams to achieve business objectives Thorough understanding of the marketing mix and proven ability to develop marketing plans that drive share capture, revenue growth, and profitability maximization within the Business-to-Business environment Strategic thinker with the ability to convert data and information into meaningful insights and strategies in highly complex and fragmented market sectors Travel required about 25% Required Experience Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing, Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related technical field from an accredited college/university required 5 to 8+ years Marketing and Product Management experience required Preferred Qualifications MBA preferred Specialty chemical industry experience #WRGRACE Grace is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
