Candidates will work on a wide range of engineering challenges, including:Developing novel approaches to increase resiliency of SATCOM signals in contested and congested electromagnetic environments.Leveraging the latest advancements in DSP, antenna design, and AI/ML to provide diverse communication pathways and allow uninterrupted communications.Deliver recommendations for unified terminal deployment strategies.Investigate commercial technologies and provide strategic recommendations and designs of integrating commercial off the shelf systems and components into larger networks.Required Qualifications:BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Knowledge of wideband SATCOM (X, Ku, Commercial and Military Ka) Radio Frequency (RF) expertise.Knowledge of commercial SATCOM trends and capabilitiesKnowledge of current low/medium/geosynchronous Earth orbit (LEO/MEO/GEO) satellite systems.Experience in leading multiple engineering disciplines to provide solutions to complex problems that require unified software, hardware, mechanical, and reliability approaches while balancing cost and schedule constraints.Must have demonstrated proficiency and strength in verbal, written, PC, presentation, and communications skills.Preferred Qualifications:MS in Engineering or a related field.Communications signal processing, link design and analysisExperience in systems engineering with expertise across the development lifecycle from concept development, through requirements definition, system development and integration, and into verification.Phased array, small form factor, and modular/scalable Antenna expertise.Experience evaluating and testing SATCOM systems.This requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):This requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s):Salary compensation range and midpoint:$95,500 - $120,800 - $144,900 AnnualMITRE requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
