Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to support sustainment, support, and future enhancements. Must be a highly motivated engineer with a broad brush of skills and experience that allow them to troubleshoot and remediate basic ground segment defects including software defects, environmental limitations and configuration issues that affect ground software execution and nominal operation. This position will be located in Dulles, VA and has a secondary location in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI Clearance to start. What You'll Get to Do: Support Operations ground software and associated configurations. This will involve troubleshooting both software errors and hardware affecting the operation of ground software. Support Acceptance Test events, including running tests Configuration of ground segment software Resolution and remediation of software defects Software Enhancements as directed by customer change requests or mission needs. Ground software support during launch and launch rehearsal events Support the installation of new ground segment software in operational, development and test environments. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in engineering, software, or related field 9 years of related experience, or 7 years with a Masters, or 4 years with a PhD Linux experience C/C++, Bash scripting Active or Current Top Secret/SCI Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MAESTRO ground software LEX/YAC Java, Perl, Python FSTOL Salary Range: 114000 - 171100 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
