Job Summary Job Responsibilities Primary & Essential Accountabilities o Under direction of HR Leader, responsible for performing a variety of HR functions which may include: benefit administration, performance and compensation management, recruiting/staffing, employee relations, implementation of policies and procedures, training, HRIS support and employee communications o HR Generalist/Operations o Communicate HR policies and procedures o Employee interviews (stay - various stages, exit) o Employee inquiry and support requests o Performance Management - may handle terminations and corrective action issues o Perform exit interviews with terminating employees o Assist with investigations involving harassment, EEOC, and similar types of claims ensuring legal compliance as directed o Comply with all state and federal regulations o Assist managers in conducting needs analysis for open positions o Source candidates using a variety of methods (ie, Internet, career fairs, colleges, etc.) from both internal and external sources o May process new hires and onboard all new employees o Work closely with payroll department o Monthly HR/Security meetings o HR project support o Communicate benefit policies and changes o Employer brand development (internal/external) o Leverage social media o LinkedIn group administration o LinkedIn group maintenance o Social media representative with Corporate o CareerArc optimization (branding, marketing) o Employee communication o HR newsletter o GES HR Intranet maintenance o HR calendar development and oversight o Town hall agenda and slide preparation o Town hall highlight o Signera digital signage o Contract award process administration o End of year video o #WeAreGES (employee engagement) o Program oversight o Employee gifting and celebrations o #YouMeWeAreGES o DIBs program administration o Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization Job Responsibilities Part II Qualifications Qualifications o Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and 2+ years of experience in human resource management o Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferred o Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues o Ability to research and analyze various different type of data information o Ability to make recommendations to effectiveness resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law o Ability to organize and prioritize work o Ability to coach and develop other employees less experienced in HR o Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration o Effective oral and written communication skills o Excellent interpersonal skills o Working knowledge of various software packages (ie, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, ADP, etc) o MS Office skills required HRIS experience preferred o SPHR or PHR certification preferred In compliance with Executive Order 14042 and the Company's desire to protect the safety and health of our employees, customers, and communities, effective October 1, 2021, as a condition of employment the Company requires all newly hired US employees be fully vaccinated.
